The Chronicles of Narnia: “Prince Caspian” movie is adapted from C.S Lewis masterpiece, the seven series of The Chronicles of Narnia novels. This movie is the sequel from The Chronicles of Narnia: “The Lion, the Witch, and The Wardrobe” movie that released in 2005.

Prince Caspian X (Ben Barnes) is the prince of Telmarine’s Kingdom. Caspian is fatherless. But he didn’t know, that his father -King Caspian IX- was killed by his uncle, Lord Miraz (Sergio Castellito) who wanted be a king in Telmarine. Caspian X didn’t know that he could still alive just because Miraz hadn’t had a child to be his legacy.

One day, Miraz’s wife -Lady Prunaprismia- (Alicia Borrachero) gave birth to a son. Prunaprismia was so glad. Then, General Glozelle (Pierfrancesco Favino) told Miraz that his wife born of a son. Miraz was glad, too. To make his zeal comes true, Miraz ordered Glozelle to extinguish Caspian.

Caspian saved from his uncle’s depraved plan. Caspian saved because he runs away from castle. But, there’s an accident in the woods and makes Caspian met Narnians people.   King Peter (William Moseley), Queen Susan (Anna Popplewell), King Edmund (Skandar Keynes), and Queen Lucy (Georgie Henley) came into Narnia. They were kings and queens of Narnia. But, they turned back into human land (earth) from NarniaKingdom. And because Caspian bowed up Susan’s horn it makes them came back into Narnia.

Miraz was so mad knowing that Glozelle came back without Caspian. But, Glozelle tried to explain it just not seems like that. Glozelle brought up a dwarf, also a Narnian named Nikabrik (Peter Dinklage) and makes Miraz surprised. He thought Narnians people must be extinct when Telmarine’s ancestor attacked NarniaKingdom.

When Nikabrik will extinguish with Telmarine’s soldiers, he was saved by the Pevensie. And then, Nikabrik led them into Narnians people and Caspian.

The main conflict is when Caspian wanted his crown back from Miraz, but he won’t. Beside that, Narnians who led by Peter should have to against Telmarine’s soldiers that too much. In the end, Aslan (voiced by Liam Neeson) came to help Narnians people.

“Prince Caspian” movie give something different from the last movie of Narnia, “The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe”. There many conflict behind the story, many new actors, and many scenes that so incredible.         We’ll was spoiled by beautiful scenery in this movie. Mountain, woods, river, cave, until special effect for the Greece’s mythology likes Centaurs, Minotaur, Faun, etc that looks so real. Also a heroic battle one on one between Peter and Miraz who wants to struggle NarniansKingdom back to their people.

Although “Prince Caspian” movie gave us a ‘dark’ scene than “The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardobe”, because many scenes that did in the evening, we still could feel the violent ambience.

Ben, Sergio, Alicia, Favino, and Dinklage were so impressing. They are have good capable to play the role deeply. Also, the previous actors like William, Anna, Georgie, Skandar, and Neeson still retain their capability like their acting on the previous movie.

Sometimes, we should have to struggle our rights back from everyone who carries away it from us although we might pass through a thorny way.
